About

What is Klaie?

Klaie, pronounced “clay”, is a permission-aware AI workspace for companies. Ask a question and it answers from your documents, connected apps and the web, with a citation for every claim. Before it opens a single file, it checks whether you're allowed to.

Answers with sources

Ask in plain words and get an answer from your files, apps and the web, with each claim cited.

The right answer for each person

Access is checked inside every search, so people only get answers from what they can already open.

Finished work

Ask for the deck, the document or the model and get a PowerPoint, Word or Excel file you can edit and send.

A private model for sensitive work

Sensitive mode keeps HR cases, legal drafts and unreleased numbers on a private model, away from outside AI providers.

Who Klaie is for

Klaie is for companies that want one AI workspace for everyone, including the people who handle restricted information.

  • Finance teams: board updates and Excel models with every figure cited
  • HR teams: policy answers for everyone, and confidential cases in Sensitive mode
  • Legal teams: clause search with citations, and confidential drafts
  • Sales teams: account research and follow-ups drafted for review
  • Founders and executives: one question across reports, inbox and calendar

What Klaie does

Everything happens in one workspace, with each person's access applied throughout.

  • Permission-aware search across your files, Google Workspace, Microsoft 365 and 150+ other apps
  • PowerPoint decks, Word documents and Excel models with working formulas
  • Deep research that reads company files and the web, then cites what it found
  • Scheduled routines, such as a sales briefing every weekday at 8
  • Klaie Call: share your screen, ask out loud, and Klaie answers by voice and draws where you're looking

What makes it different

Many AI tools read everything they can reach and trust the model to keep quiet about it. Klaie checks access in the database before anything reaches a model, and plain code, not a prompt, decides what a tool may do.

Reading and drafting happen on their own. Anything that would send, post or change something outside Klaie waits for a person to approve it.

The models behind it

Klaie has three everyday tiers: Klaie 1 for frontier work, Kai 1 for advanced work and Mol 1 for fast answers. You pick the tier, Klaie sends each request to the model best suited to it, and when a model is slow or down the request moves to the next best one. These tiers use third-party AI providers.

Sensitive is the private tier. It answers on a model Klaie runs itself and never falls back to an outside provider.

The company

Klaie was founded by Archit Khandelwal and is built in Hyderabad, India. It's in early access. For sales or press, email founder@klaie.ai. Logos, colors and approved descriptions are on the brand page.
