Sensitive mode

Confidential work gets a private model.

Switch a conversation to Sensitive for HR cases, legal drafts or numbers that aren't public yet. Klaie answers with a private model on infrastructure it controls, and the conversation never reaches a third-party AI provider.

The notes support two of the three complaints. I've drafted next steps for the panel, with the interview dates and the policy each finding relates to.

Example: someone asks Klaie “Summarize the HR investigation notes and draft next steps for the panel.”

Private by rule, not by request.

No quiet fallback

If private inference is unavailable, Klaie tells you. It won't hand the request to another model to get you an answer.

Nothing slips out through tools

Anything that could carry your words outside Klaie, like web research, browsing or image generation, is switched off.

Locked once it's on

A Sensitive conversation stays Sensitive. It can't be moved to another tier halfway through.

Still gets the work done

It searches the company files you can open and makes documents, decks and spreadsheets, all inside Klaie.

When to use Sensitive mode

Use it for anything you wouldn't paste into a public chatbot. Typical examples:

  • HR investigations, performance cases and grievance notes
  • Draft contracts, legal correspondence and privileged material
  • Board papers, unreleased financials and deal documents
  • Customer or partner information covered by an NDA

What changes in a Sensitive conversation

The request is answered by a private model on infrastructure Klaie operates, and it never falls back to a third-party provider. Tools that could send your words outside Klaie, such as web research, browsing and image generation, are off.

Administrators decide a few things for their organization. They can allow general web search and reading from connected apps in Sensitive conversations; if they don't, those stay off too.

What stays the same

Permissions still apply, citations still open the source, and Klaie can still make Word documents, PowerPoint decks and Excel spreadsheets from the files you can open. Scheduled routines can run in Sensitive mode as well, but they can't email their results, because the content would leave Klaie.

Questions people ask

Is Sensitive mode a separate product?

No. It's a tier in the same Klaie workspace. Choose Sensitive in the picker when you start a conversation, and it stays Sensitive from then on.

What happens if the private model is unavailable?

Klaie tells you and stops. It never quietly sends a Sensitive request to another model to produce an answer.

Is Sensitive content used to train the private model?

No. Klaie doesn't train on customer content. Any model it trains for Sensitive mode is trained on synthetic or licensed data, unless a customer agrees otherwise in writing.

Can Sensitive conversations search the web?

Not by default. Web research, browsing and image generation are off. An administrator can allow general web search for Sensitive conversations if their organization wants it.
